On Saturday, October 22 Ranken held its 2011 fall open house. Guests began arriving early to see campus and by the end of the event approximately 675 guests had come through the doors. Guests took program tours, toured Walker Hall, and had the opportunity to speak with representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Support Services, the Student Achievement Center, Career Services, Continuing Education, the S-STEM program and Alumni Relations.
The Admissions counselors had a busy day with over 170 potential students signing in to the admissions center and 29 students registering for classes. Four more have registered this week. Potential students who attended the event have until Saturday, October 29 to register for classes to receive the $100 tuition credit.
Guests also enjoyed lunch in the dining hall and had the opportunity to register to win a $1,000 scholarship. Congratulation to Lauren Slavik from St. Louis whose name was drawn. She is a 2011 graduate of Mehlville and South Technical High and is interested in entering the Information Technology program in spring 2012.
